Old Masters Gel Stain is a viscous oil based stain great for fiberglass, new or previously stained wood, masonite, and primed metal.
This wood gel stain is formulated for ease of use so you can achieve a great result in one coat. It's great for refinishing furniture, hardwood floors, or for front doors.
Gel stain made for hard to stain woods like veneer, poplar, maple, plywood, pine and nonporous surfaces including metal, masonite, fiberglass, and plastic. Gel Stain comes in 24 factory made colors and all colors can be intermixed to create custom colors.
Old Master Gel Stain Colors
Dry Time: At 70°F and 50% Relative Humidity Approximately 6 to 8 hours.
Coverage: 1200 sq. feet per gal or 300 sq. feet per quart.
Clean up: Mineral spirits.
This product is meant to be used with a topcoat. For a water based interior topcoat we recommend Old Masters Masters Armor, or General Finishes High Performance. When applying a water based topcoat over this oil based gel stain it is best to wait up to 2-3 days to topcoat.
